The Dallas Cowboys boot the 2020 campaign in Los Angeles. Big D has big plans to steal the Hollywood spotlight from the Rams.
Are you ready for some football? Well, here we go: The Dallas Cowboys hop on a flight to Los Angeles to face the Rams on Sunday night action. Get your popcorn ready for an early, heavyweight fight between two NFC powerhouses.
Truth be told, I like this match a lot. The Rams weren’t invited to the 2019 NFL Playoffs, but don’t let their 9-7 record fool you. The NFC West is arguably the strongest division of them all with the 49ers and Seahawks in the mix.
But then again, the Dallas Cowboys were a pleasant host to the Rams when the pair met up at AT&T Stadium last December, Week 15. Dak Prescott quarterbacked himself a nice day, racking up 212 yards, two touchdowns, zero interceptions, and a quarterback rating of 123.8. But it was rookie back Tony Pollard who ran amok with the Hollywood script, running for 131 yards and a score.
The Cowboys extended their playoff aspiration with a commanding 44-21 win. In return, the Rams skidded off the road and flew home with playoff contention in full doubt.
But it’s a new year. A new season. Things change. The football of yesterday isn’t the football of today. The score is dead even at zero, with both squads looking to boot the season with a smile.
Cowboys? Or Rams? Who do you have in your win column? To help you decide, here are three thoughts to digest, and of course, stick around to the end for a prediction.
