The Philadelphia Eagles added another player to their cornerback room, signing former Dallas Cowboys corner Orlando Scandrick to a one year deal. Scandrick was brought in for a workout and visit in the wake of the foot injury suffered by corner Cre’Von LeBlanc on Thursday.
With the Eagles hurting at cornerback again, here are 4 takeaways from the Scandrick signing.
1. Cre’Von LeBlanc is injured and not set to be traded
The initial thought was that LeBlanc was being held out of Eagles practices because of a potential trade. After LeBlanc was spotted in a walking boot, that claim proved to be untrue. What is true is LeBlanc suffered a sprained foot and will miss several weeks of time.
