ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler is doing his annual positional rankings this summer and he hasn’t been kind to the Eagles at all.
A day after omitting Lane Johnson from his offensive tackle rankings, Fowler left Brandon Brooks and Jason Kelce off his list of the NFL’s top-10 interior offensive linemen.
Brandon Brooks, G, Philadelphia Eagles: “Should be high on the list. I think he’s just easily forgotten about because of the injuries.” — AFC exec
Jason Kelce, C, Philadelphia Eagles: “Still love the player, but he’s approaching the end.” — AFC scout
Brook’s Achilles injury in 2020 played a huge role in the Eagles and Carson Wentz’s offensive regression. A three-time Pro Bowl player, Brooks is the top guard in the NFL when healthy.
Kelce started his 100th straight game in 2020 and was elected to his 3rd Pro Bowl and received his 3rd straight First-Team All-Pro Honor.
