GREEN BAY – The Packers won’t have defensive tackle Kenny Clark available this Sunday against the Detroit Lions, Head Coach Matt LaFleur has confirmed.
Clark missed all three days of practice this week after suffering a groin injury during the Packers’ 43-34 win over Minnesota last Sunday. He exited the game in the second quarter and did not return.
It’ll be only the fifth game the Pro Bowl defensive tackle has missed in his four-plus NFL seasons.
“Kenny will be out, unfortunately,” said LaFleur after Friday’s practice. “I know he’s doing everything in his power to be back as soon as possible but he won’t be able to play this weekend.”
