Former New York Giants linebacker Corey Miller has been named the director of player development at Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina.

Miller, 52, was a sixth-round pick out of South Carolina by the Giants in 1991 and played 105 games (starting 70) over sevens seasons for Big Blue.
Miller, who finished his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings in 1999, recorded 252 tackles, seven interceptions and 14 sacks as an outside linebacker. His son, Christian, is currently a linebacker with the Carolina Panthers.
Miller has spent the majority of his post-football life as a pastor and a motivational speaker, and has hosted programs in South Carolina on local radio and television stations.
