ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Tackle Garett Bolles and outside linebacker Bradley Chubb have been named to the Pro Football Writers of America’s All-AFC team.

The PFWA announced its All-NFL, All-AFC and All-NFC teams on Monday, and Bolles and Chubb were Denver’s lone representatives. No Broncos were selected to the All-NFL team.

Bolles posted the best season of his young career in 2020 as he earned second-team All-Pro honors and did not allow a sack, according to Pro Football Focus. Chubb, meanwhile, rebounded from an ACL injury in 2019 to post 7.5 sacks in 14 games and earn his first career Pro Bowl nod. Bolles and Chubb previously earned spots on the PFWA’s All-Rookie team in 2017 and 2018, respectively.

Safety Justin Simmons, who was named to the Pro Bowl after recording a career high five interceptions, was beaten out by Kansas City’s Tyrann Mathieu and Pittsburgh’s Minkah Fitzpatrick for All-AFC and All-NFL honors. Simmons was also left off the Associated Press’ All-Pro teams after being named a second-team All-Pro in 2019.

The PFWA will announce its All-Rookie Team on Tuesday. Wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and center Lloyd Cushenberry could contend for spots on the team.
