Jamal Adams could be joining Leonard Williams on his way out of One Jets Drive.
The Jets are engaged with the Cowboys on trade talks involving the Pro Bowl safety, The Post’s Brian Costello confirmed. The Jets’ asking price is high so if a deal happens it would be for a major haul.
According to NFL Network, the Jets are looking for more than a first-round pick and a deal is not imminent.
Adams, the 24-year-old from Dallas, was clearly upset with how the Jets’ season has gone. The team is 10-29 in Adams’ two-plus seasons since being drafted No. 6 overall in the 2017.
“We’re 1-6,” Adams said. “It’s been three years. It’s frustrating. I just want to win.”
