New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate missed a Week 1 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a hamstring injury, but he appears on track to play on Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Tate, who was limited in all three of the team’s practices this week, is expected to suit up in Week 2.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport concurs.
“He’s been working hard with the trainers and has progressed nicely,” head coach Joe Judge told reporters on Friday.
