ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Nose tackle Mike Purcell returned to practice Thursday as a limited participant after missing Wednesday’s session with a knee injury.
Head Coach Vic Fangio said Wednesday he expected Purcell “should be fine.”
Wide receiver Courtland Sutton (hip), guard Graham Glasgow (illness) and defensive end Shelby Harris (wrist) improved to full participants in practice. Wide receiver Tim Patrick (hip) and tight end Noah Fant (ankle) remained limited.
Fangio said Glasgow was on pace to play Sunday against the Jets after missing Denver’s Week 2 win.
“He was fine,” Fangio said of how Glasgow emerged from Wednesday’s practice. “He did good.”
Denver is expected to release its list of game statuses after Friday’s practice.
