The Seattle Seahawks come into 2021 with a surprising amount of depth at guard. In Damien Lewis and Gabe Jackson, they have two high-level starters. They’ve also got some quality options further down the depth chart, all the way down to the practice squad.
According to Brady Henderson at ESPN, guard Phil Haynes is back on the practice squad after clearing waivers last week.

Haynes has only played 11 snaps to date but he was a standout during the preseason on the right side at both guard and tackle.
The team is also planning to re-sign the promising Jordan Simmons, per Henderson.

In order to make room for him, Seattle will have to cut one of their current practice squad players.
Here is a look at the squad without Simmons:

WR Cade Johnson
WR Cody Thompson
TE Tyler Mabry
TE Mark Vital
G Pier-Olivier Lestage

Linebacker Aaron Donkor is also on the squad but doesn’t count against the 16-man limit as he’s part of the International Player Pathway program.
