The Seattle Seahawks offensive ability was on full display on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with Russell Wilson throwing five touchdowns in a 40-34 overtime victory to give the team an excellent 7-2 record.

While Wilson had 368 yards passing and Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf each had over 120 receiving yards, it was backup tight end Jacob Hollister who had the most important score of the game, a 10-yard touchdown reception in overtime that resulted in the sudden death victory for the Seahawks.

The touchdown was not only the second of the day for Hollister, but it was also the second of his career.

The former Patriots tight end had a strong preseason with Seattle but was cut and re-signed to the practice squad as the team opted to go with Will Dissly and Nick Vannett instead.

Both Dissly and Vannett are no longer in the picture, and Hollister has stepped into a big role alongside veteran Luke Willson in this offense.

Seattle is expected to get veteran tight end Ed Dickson back in Week 10, which will likely cut into Hollister’s opportunities in the passing game.

However, the former Wyoming product certainly helped his case on Sunday for a bigger role on this team going forward.
