On Wednesday, it was revealed that New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, who was playing on a strained hamstring in his right leg, suffered a low-ankle sprain in his left leg in the second quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
While it was obvious that Jones lacked mobility and did not look like himself last week, the second-year signal caller downplayed his injuries to reporters.
“It’s sore, and part of playing the game,” Jones said in reference to his sprained ankle. “But I’m just focused on healing up and doing everything I can to play on Sunday.”
