On3 Sports reports that Texas target Corian Gipson has set a commitment date for July 22.
The four-star cornerback will be choosing between Clemson, Texas, TCU, Ohio State, and Alabama later this month. Gipson is rated the No. 8 cornerback in the country for the 2024 recruiting class, according to 247Sports composite.
Gipson is fresh off an official visit to Texas on June 23. The two favorites in his recruitment appear to be Texas and Clemson. On3 Sports lists the Longhorns as the heavy favorite, while 247Sports shows Clemson in the lead.
