Vikings Activate 6 Players Ahead of Week 17 Game...

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Saturday activated a total of six players during roster moves ahead of facing the Packers on Sunday Night Football in Week 17.

Minnesota activated Olisaemeka Udoh from Reserve/COVID-19.

Udoh has played in 15 games and made 14 starts this season. He opened the first 11 at right guard before kicking out to left tackle to fill in when an injury kept rookie Christian Darrisaw out of games at Detroit and against Pittsburgh.

When Darrisaw returned at Chicago, the Vikings opted to start Mason Cole at right guard. Cole was injured and placed on Injured Reserve, so the Udoh returned to the starting lineup last week against the Rams.

He was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list the day after the game but was cleared to return Saturday.

Minnesota also announced the activations of defensive end Kenny Willekes, safety Myles Dorn and cornerback Tye Smith from the practice squad as COVID-19 replacements and defensive tackle T.Y. McGill and defensive end Eddie Yarbrough as standard elevations.
