EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Friday ruled out cornerback Mike Hughes for Sunday’s scheduled game against the Texans in Houston.
After starting in Weeks 1 and 2, Hughes has been dealing with a neck injury and did not practice this week.The other three Vikings listed on the injury report this week were cornerbacks Cameron Dantzler (rib) and Kris Boyd (hamstring), and tackle Olisaemeka Udoh (finger).
Boyd was listed as doubtful on Friday. Dantzler and Udoh did not receive a designation for Sunday’s game, which means each is likely to be available.
Friday’s Texans Injury Report: This will be updated when Houston announces its final injury report of the week.Thursday’s Vikings Injury Report: Mike Hughes (neck) did not participate. Fellow cornerbacks Cameron Dantzler (rib) and Kris Boyd (hamstring) were limited. Tackle Olisaemeka Udoh (finger) was added to the report as a limited participant Thursday.
Wednesday’s Injury Report – The Vikings were unable to practice Wednesday because Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center remained closed in response to the COVID-19 positive tests for Titans players and coaches who participated against Minnesota in Week 3.
Wednesday’s participations for the Vikings are estimations.
Cameron Dantzler (rib) was listed as “limited.” Fellow cornerbacks Kris Boyd (hamstring) and Mike Hughes (neck) would not have participated if there had been a practice.
