What we learned from New York Giants’ 37-34 loss…

If there’s any one thing that’s glaringly obvious about the 2020 New York Giants, it’s that they lack clutch players.
Even some of their top talent, such as quarterback Daniel Jones, linebacker Blake Martinez and cornerback James Bradberry, seem to come up small in big moments.
Last week against the Rams, it was Bradberry failing to get a hand on Cooper Kupp. In Sunday’s loss to the Cowboys, Jones couldn’t rally the team with under 2:00 to go, while Martinez, Mr. tackling machine, whiffed in a key moment on Dallas’ final drive.
Edge rushers getting to the quarterback with the game on the line? Non-existent. A receiver or running back coming up big on a key third down? Non-existent. A tight end making a contested catch in traffic to keep the sticks moving? Nope.
The Giants have none of that and it’s why they’ve lost four close, winable games.
